The 4^th edition of the Woman in Film Awards ceremony coincided with the International Women’s Day date. The dates and planning went to show just how vital this ceremony is to women breaking the glass ceiling when it comes to matters film.

This year’s theme was: Through the eyes of the woman filmmaker,  Celebrating Creativity and Diversity.  The ceremony was aimed towards Celebrating the different roles women have played in the making of motion pictures in Kenya.
